Hey sweet love, I'm ABBEY RUTH GOWEN!
I currently live in Northwest Arkansas, where I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. I first picked up a camera in 6th grade, but it wasn't until college that I discovered my passion for photography and fell in love with it. Creating has always been my favorite outlet. It's how I process things, how I connect with the world around me, and how I keep myself busy. Whether I'm taking photos, rearranging a room, painting, or attempting a sewing project that ends up taking three times longer than expected, I'm happiest when I'm making something. Every creative hobby has taught me to see the world a little differently, and each one continues to inspire the next!
Some extra things I love: road trips, flowers, my two beautiful sisters and nephews, the sun, THE BEACH, any fantasy book, my weenie dogs, and the color purple. And most importantly, I love music - there's a good chance I'm listening to something no matter what I'm doing<3

My goal is to create images that feel like you. The small details, the overlooked moments, the way things felt - I want your photos to hold meaning and bring you right back every time you look at them. Whether it’s a big gathering, a meaningful season, or simply being yourself in front of the camera, I approach each session with care and intention.
